Japanese auto output rises 3.8 percent in January

According to the data provided by theJapanAutomobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), in January this year Japanese automobileproduction(including passenger cars, trucks and buses) totaled 761,130 units, rising by 3.8 percent compared to the same month of last year.
Domestic automobile sales in January inJapanstood at 401,650 vehicles, up 4.9 percent as compared with the same month of 2016. In the meantime, the country's automobile exports in January amounted to 316,125 units, down by 5.8 percent year on year.
