MOC: Average steel prices in China edge up during May 30-Jun 5

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during the May 30-June 5 period this year the overall average finished steel price inChinaedged up slightly.

In the given period, the average prices of welded steelpipe,rebarand high-speedwire rodmoved up by 1.2 percent, 1.1 percent and 1.0 percent, respectively, week on week.

In the same period, the average price of thermal coal decreased by 0.4 percent, while the average price ofcoking coaledged up by 0.3 percent, week on week.
