In the January-May period this year, Dnipro region-based Ukrainian iron ore producer Kryviy Rih Iron Ore Industrial Complex (KZhRK) mined 1.756 million mt of merchant iron ore, up 0.3 percent year on year, according to local media sources.
In May alone, the company’s iron ore production amounted to 367,000 mt, SteelOrbis has learned.
