Wire rodprices inTurkeyhave fallen by $40/mt in the Marmara region to come into line with the averagewire rodprice range in the rest of the country. Most suppliers are offering material for May-early June delivery.
One Iskenderun-based mill kept itswire rodprice stable at $1,030/mt ex-works a week ago. Moreover, another supplier in the region has recently opened itswire rodsales at $1,070/mt ex-works for May delivery. Size availability is an issue depending on the supplier amid ongoingwire rodexport shipments. In addition, some local buyers are taking their time before concluding new purchases in order to monitor the import scrap segment.
